Tech-SMART Digital Literacy for Veterans is a wrap-around training and education program that promotes best practices for the use of computers and broadband to reduce mental and physical health disparities for residents who live in underserved communities. Last year Digipreneurship partnered with the Church Coalition, UF/ProTalks Prostate Cancer, and N.E. Florida Women Veterans to continue research on health disparities in key areas throughout Northeast Florida to improve outcomes for a new study by the University of Florida, Uf Shands, and The Humana Foundation. The study revealed that New Town Health Zone is institutionally deficient in health care, environment conditions, workforce readiness, housing, income, and healthy food choices.
Digipreneurship University has partnered with Health-SMART Holistic to Reduce Health Disparities for Seniors. A 10 member smart pantry of faith-based organizations recently became Leadership and Learning Partners to Increase Broadband Education in Florida.
DigiU is open for new member registration and ongoing enrollment for those who are impacted by massive health disparities, from diabetes, poor heart conditions, Cancer, all compounded by the external threats post-Covid19.
